Cool stuff from Grandma's house

We have a computer running at home again! Hooray, I can finally post new photos! I can't wait to share these special items with you, a few things I took from my Grandma's house. These salt and pepper shakers have been in her cupboard for as long as I can remember. If anyone has any information about them, please share it. Their only markings say "Japan."

A close up of the adorable kitty.

Here's another oldie but goodie--a glass container with aluminum lid. Grandma used it to store powdered sugar (and so will I). I found a Wikipedia entry on Horlicks.

The salt and pepper shakers are darling! Mom use to collect them but stopped when she ran out of room to display them.

Cute salt and pepper shakers. Too bad you don't have any more identifying information to try searching eBay or Google.
