Remember Sadie's violet?

Look how it's blooming now! Here's what it looked like a month ago, and here's Sadie helping me transplant it. I think I'm going to ask her to help me with plants more often!

Very lovely! Are those African Violets? We would love to have some, but didn't know if they were safe for pets!

@ chezcat1970 - I think they're safe for cats, as long as you don't block the cats access to the window(s) and don't mind a bit of cat hair accumulating on the leaves. :-)

@ Rene - is that a more pink looking variety?

To all: yes, African violets are on the safe list for cats. Amy: the flowers are burgundy color.
