Don't worry, guys. Jim and I are going away for one night to attend an anniversary party for Rene's parents. Her parents are celebrating 40 years on Sunday the 19th. Rene's mom regularly reads this blog, and I'm sure she would love it if there were LOTS of happy wishes!
Here is my favorite wedding photo of theirs. They'd rented a Model T to take them to the reception. They look so young and happy, with their whole lives ahead of them.
A good friend of Rene's will be caring for you guys. She doesn't own pets but loves kitties, and she's visited plenty of times before, so you already know her. Be good kitties and we'll be home before you know it!

Awwwwww Happy Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary to Rene's lovely parents!! Me and Charlie think they just look so happy and so beautiful and perfect together in that fabulous wedding picture!! We especially like Rene's mum's big beautiful smile and Rene's dad's quiff!! LOL!! That hairstyle just ROCKS!!
