A bag o' Benny

I got out my sewing machine a few days ago, and took off its plastic cover. Benny immediately went inside the bag and just sat there. He sat quietly in the bag for 10 minutes (what was he thinking?)

I should note that, of course, he was supervised every second he was inside the bag. We never leave plastic bags out when we aren't in the room--too dangerous for kitties otherwise.

They don't seem to realize that they can be seen through the plastic.

Looks like a desparate plea for a good paper grocery bag! (Though, we like sitting on the reusable ones, too.)

Benny that must have been a treat to hang out in the bag! My ben loves bags but I never let him play in them because he tries to eat them. His finest moment is when we bring the dry cleaning home and lay it on the diningroom table for a moment before it goes upstairs. He perches atop the pile of shirts and looks so proud of himself.

plastic bags are a big hit around here too, so I know what you mean about being careful..

Why do all kitties LOVE bags! As a dog, I just don't get it.

Plastic and paper bags crinkle, and the noise is so nice and pleasing to them. Still, I don't see the thrill.

Just a thought .....

Well, a bag IS a bag! Good for you to let him have his fun.

My husband went to the LCBO (Liquor store in Ontario) and brought home a paper bag, it has now taken up permanent residence on our living room floor as it is Kasey's favourite place to sleep.

If you open it up thinking he might want to lay inside he sits beside it and keeps patting it down with his paw until it is flat again and then lays on it. :)
