Old recipes

My grandma asked me to type in her old recipes to share with the grandchildren, so I'm compiling them into a future cookbook. It's been interesting reading them and deciphering the language.

Tucker wants to know if there are any recipes for kitties.

You might enjoy the chicken booyah, but the recipe makes enough for 35 people, so I won't be making it anytime soon.

I scanned all of my mothers recipes in to the PC and created CD's for every one of her grand Children and Great Grands that were married. Many are in her hand writing so I typed a copy to make them more readable.

What a great way to pay tribute to your grandma! You should throw in a kitty recipe just for fun!

That sounds like such a great project! My grandma's recipes are all in her head, so we've taken to following her around the kitchen with a clipboard to write down everything she does. So far it's kind of a clunky system, but I think we'll get there eventually!

That is so cool! You could make the chicken recipe and have 35 kitties over; just a suggestion!
