Hidden in plain sight and contest winner!

First, the winner of our contest! The winner is: Old Kitty! Congratulations! I will forward your email to the contact I have at Myecloth so she can email you your certificate!

I have a decorative wreath near the front door. I noticed a bird near there but didn't pay much attention.

Then I realized this was inside!
I posted these photos on Facebook and learned that there are two kinds of eggs, a cowbird and a house finsh. The cowbird lays eggs in other birds' nests and doesn't care for them. I did some research and learned that it's illegal to move cowbird eggs since they are a native species.

More to come--

Awwwwww thank you! Oh wow!! Awwww me and Charlie are so happy - thank you thank you!!! We are blushing! :-) Thank you!

Awwww cowbirds sound like cuckoos! But hopefully this sort of thing happens for centuries and over millenia and so works out eventually in the great big scheme of things.

Take care

How interesting about the cowbirds. I did not know that about them. Are you sure they aren't human?
