Friday flashback: Don't you ever feed these cats?

From January 2007. Tucker stretches into the bottom of the (empty) food bag to lick the crumbs.

I should note that he and Sadie are on a completely grain-free wet diet. Benny has been a harder convert (aka, dry food addict). I've got him to half wet and half dry and that's as far as he'll go. Sigh. At least it's something.

In other news, I am honored that Connie from tails from the foster kittens has chosen the names I suggested for a mom and three kittens. How cool is that? :-)

The important question is...how did he get back out?

And definitely cool about the names.

Jack would do the same thing. He'd chew though the bag, he'd eat the bag if it were covered with enough crumbs.. He all too frequently knocks things off the counters that smell like they MIGHT have treats in them hoping the fall to the floor knocks them open and he might get treats..

I keep some dry food around as "cookies" to gather the cats when I need to count them, or catch them, or when I feel horribly guilty that they haven't had cookies in a while I would so prefer to use something a little less "dry food" but several of the crew won't take treats from my hand no matter what (but they will eat them scattered on the floor - it's an alpha beta omega thing)

and yes, I almost always feel the need to justify that I have dry food in my house. I so should get over that. I mean I have ice cream and cookies in there too.

I hope you got every single bit of crumb that was left in that bag, Tucker. That was hard work. How cool that Connie picked the names you gave the kitties.

Be careful there, Tucker. Sometimes it's tougher backing out of a sack than it was pushing into it.
