Thursday gardening post

It's been such a hot and dry summer here that many of my plants are crispy. A few look good, though.

Last week I saw the first blooms on my morning glories. These are an heirloom variety that bloom a little later--but worth the wait!

A basket of purple somethings (don't remember their name).

A marigold basket. I grew these from seed.

Slightly jealous. I planted a couple of varieties of morning glories this year, and so far have only seen the plain white ones bloom.

Your flowers are gorgeous. You have a bright flourescent green thumb, Rene.
