Halloween decor 2012: Day 2

More decorations!
Natalie had asked if we get a lot of trick-or-treaters. Yes, we do. A couple of years ago, I stopped giving candy (I just wanted to eat it all) and started making sacks with fun things inside (pencils, stickers, etc.). The wee little ones get the small tubs of Play Doh. Jim joked that the kids wouldn't like it but they love it. They think the idea of getting their own sack is fun. Plus, if I have leftovers, they are easy to store until next year.

Front flowerbox
The only d*g item in the collection--a light-up Snoopy.
Pumpkins! The pumpkin on the left is on the back of a cat.
I love this cat. Its butt goes up and it sings or says several things. The eyes light up too.

You have such fantastic decorations!

I don't give out candy anymore, but I do like the idea of those sacks! The kids all get enough sugar anyway. LOL.

very smart. My parents live in a high traffic area. Mom used to work at the middle school and she quickly realized that people were trucking their kids into to the development because it was safer to trick or treat there then their own rural area, they end up spending over a hundred dollars in candy each year.

Kids may not like not getting candy, but the parents do!

Awesome Halloween decorations. Snoopy is the only dog I like so he was purrfect. The kitty was very cute, too.

What a cool treat idea for the kids! Definitely better than having all that tempting candy around the house, plus healthier for the kids too.

A Sadie while I work from home
