A special treat

On rare occasions, I let Tucker explore the driveway and eat grass. He is never out more than a few minutes, and with me by his side the entire time.

He loves this ritual, and loves the grass.

He even took a moment to admire my container of petunias.

You are lucky, Tucker! We would probably bolt and play hard to get so we are not allowed outside.

What a sweetie...
I'm thinking of getting Waffles a harness to see if he might like exploring the great outdoors.

I remember doing that with Em towards the end.. She NEVER wanted to go out but for that last year she asked. It was the middle of winter the first time and I was so sure she's see the snow and turn around, but she walked right through the door and out and about, I was more than a little shocked.

It really was special time with her.. so I can imagine how much you enjoy it with the most awesome Tucker..

Oh, what a treat that must have been for you, sweet Tucker.

My cats like to get out a little bit too (always one at a time and with supervision). Sasha likes to eat grass...and if he gets too much...to throw it up indoors.

Saku prefers to roll around in the grass and dirt, purring like a mad cat all the while.

Sami...she'd rather sit on a deck chair and take in the sights and smells.

Enjoy your time outdoors Tucker, and stay safe!
