A special donation that's a double win

You might remember that last year we did a comment-a-thon for Tucker's 14th birthday, which we donated to Tabby's Place. I wanted to make a donation again this year, but could not decide what to do. There are so many worthy organizations.

Then the stars aligned and I knew what I wanted to do. Each year, the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee raises money for the cats at their local shelter. It's a lot of fun and their shelter has benefited in notable ways.

When Natalie from The Adventures of Scarlett and Melly offered a handmade fleece bed for every $20 raised on June 26, I knew we were in.

It's a double win--the money will help and so will the bed!

If you're so inclined, there's still time to donate to the Dog-A-Thon. (Though it says "dogs," the IBKC states that their money raised is specifically for the cats.)
