Flowers from a neighbor girl

A few weeks ago, I reached inside the mailbox to retrieve the mail and grabbed a bunch of dandelions instead. I was confused but thought the little neighbor boy next door must have put them there.

A week or so later, one of the neighbor girls (6) biked up our driveway and brought me some flowers she'd picked. She said she'd left some in our mailbox. Tucker was meowing on the porch, and she asked to see him. I let him out and she picked him up and held him. To my surprise, he let her carry him around for a while. She said she loves cats, and her grandmother has a cat too.

Recently, we received more flowers from Sarah. I put it in a vase and Sadie was intriqued. She smelled them for a long time.

I have a feeling we'll see more gifts from Sarah this summer. . . :-)

Awww.

Appears Miss Sadie is definitely checking those out from every angle.

Ohhh, that is so sweet of Sarah to bring and leave you flowers. Sadie loves them, too. I like how she is checking them out. Too cute.
