Map and morning update

I did a Google map of how far Tucker traveled from our house. The "A" pin on the bottom is our house. I took some photos of where he was found on my way to work this morning, but the camera is in my car, so I'll upload those later.

I called Jim already (I can't get away from work today) and Tucker is doing fine. We will have to re-introduce the cats, because both Benny and Sadie are freaked out. I'm going to buy a Feliway diffuser today and plug that in, and some Rescue Remedy too.

I posted the news on Facebook and was thrilled to see the flurry of activity around it. People at work gathered around me this morning. It's truly a celebration. I am blessed.

Oh, he really travelled a great distance, it seems, quite a few blocks. Poor sweetie. Fingers and paws crossed that Benny and Sadie soon settle down and realize Tucker is their housemate!

I think that after this ordeal, I'd be the one who needed the Rescue Remedy. Only I'd spell it w-h-i-s-k-e-y. LOL.

Poor Tucker was so far away from home he didn't know how to get back. Great sleuthing, Rene and Jim!

Minchie was ready to put on Tucker's Captain America shirt and come up and help.

Wow, Tucker sure traveled a great distance for a kitty. He is truly a miracle. He had a guardian angel with him. I am just overjoyed he is home again.

Oh thank goodness you found him! I'm sure you're beyond thrilled! I hope he doesn't try to go walking about again like that, too scary! Silly Tucker, stay home where it's warm and full of love. So very glad you got him home!

I think most of us have been down the road with a "traveling cat" and I'm so glad that you found your boy safe and sound. I know the deep relief that you feel - Purrs to the beans & scritches to all the furries - T.
