Tucker's temporary outdoor "home"

I went back and took some daytime photos of where I found Tucker. I first saw him come out from under this car, near the garbage cans:

When he got spooked, he ran in the side yard of this house. We had checked this yard many times because of all the junk around it.

We think he'd been living in this garage (with broken door) for at least a week. Though we had shined flashlights inside and called his name, he did not respond then.

Tucker has a vet appointment today to get checked over. He is eating pretty well and is in a good mood. The cats are still separated and we'll take it slow in re-introducing. The hard part is over--we can deal with this.

Poor Tucker - it looks so desolate there. I'm glad you kept coming back, even when you didn't find him at first.

Well, at least he had shelter to get in out of the rain. Keeping our paws and fingers crossed he gets a good report at the vet tonight. We are so happy he's home!

We are SO happy for you and Tucker! Just checked in and we hoped beyond hope that there was good news.

That's a pretty crappy old garage Tucker, now you have been slumming it for 11 days, we are sure you will really appreciate STAYING HOME SAFE INSIDE!

Even though the hunting is emotionally exhausting you proved that it's always worth looking and keeping up hope

Purrs and love
