This year's tie-dyed Easter eggs

Every year, I use men's silk ties to color some eggs. They come out differently every year. Here are the ties I used this year. I scour yard sales to find them inexpensively. Our friend Amy has given us some she's found secondhand too.

Here are the eggs, all wrapped up and ready for boiling.

And ta-daaaah! Here they are!

For anyone who'd like to try this, here is a tutorial. You don't need the vinegar or oil for it to turn out. I've never used either.

They're fantastic! I presume you got the ties at a second hand shop, though. LOL.

Those are really terrific. We never heard of this before. But it sure makes pretty and unusual eggs.
Hope all of you have a great day.

I love this annual post - so I can guess now which ties resulted in the Monet-style swirls and which created the checks.

I think you'll be a week or two early for the "June Jumble" sale when we meet this spring, thought.
