Tucker tribute: My favorite video

This is my favorite video of Tucker. He was so responsive to our voices, and I love his raspy meow. I sure treasure these videos now.

On Monday, I had my first "sighting" of him. Way before his outdoor "escape," he would love to eat grass nearby while I hung laundry outside to dry. I was hanging out laundry and looked near the corner of our garage, and just for a moment, could have sworn he was eating some grass.

It was comforting. In his final days, I'd wanted to take him outdoors to eat grass, but feared moving him because of his distressed breathing. Maybe it was his way of telling me that it's ok? I'd like to think so. Whatever it was, it comforted me a little.

He sure had a lot to say in that video, probably all "Let me out, human!" Sweet. :-)

I don't know what happens after we die -- I actually don't think the ego/self continues, but I can't explain my own unnerving sighting of Annie a year after her death. So...who knows? Energy can't be killed, and in the end, that's what we are, cosmic energy.

Whatever form Tucker is in now, I'm sure he's okay....and no doubt waiting for you to join him, in due course.

Purrs and hugs.

Tucker is so cute and the video will always be priceless to your heart. I do believe spirit goes on and I find great comfort knowing that one day I will be reunited again. It's wherever you draw peace from that matters because it is the source of comfort. (Tucker)

Sitings can be so bittersweet sometimes, but it is such a gift when they show up. Such a sweetheart, beautiful Tucker.

What a precious video of Tucker. I love it when they "talk" to us. I swear they know every word we say to them. I do think our babies are with us all the time after they pass. It's very comforting to know they are still close by. They do want us to know they are okay and not to be sad.

It is such a blessing that in this day and age we have such mementos.. I remember buying an actual video camera to try to capture some 'memories' of my cats at the time. I still have them somewhere, but they are on a format I doubt I could even view any more..

I would love to hear once more one of my cats who have headed over the Bridge. You are so lucky to have this special video!
But, yes, they do come back. I have seen a couple of them. Their love is so simple and profound! It can paw past the veil of death to comfort us.
And mine have. Tucker will do the same for you!

What a wonderful memory. It's so nice to be able to get video so easily these days--I wish I had it for some of my Angel Kitties.

I've never had a sighting but I am CONVINCED that Dusty sent me Rupert; they are so much alike it's eerie.
