Tucker tribute: Morning bathroom routine

I miss Tucker a lot in the mornings. He was my alarm clock for 16 years. After I'd take a shower in the morning, he'd meow outside of the bathroom door, wanting to sit on the counter.

He loved one of my brushes, and would rub his sides on it, along with furring up my clothes. . .I sure miss that routine.

It is amazing what an empty space there is when a fur animal has to leave. I bet Ringo is helping a little bit. Have a great Thursday.

We think that even some things that used to irritate the humans are missed when they're gone. We like the routine Tucker had with you. :-)

The routines are the hardest part.

So, was that the day's clothes he was making sure had enough fur for you to wear - or a special blanket for his spot on the counter?

Your post made my human a little sad today... for obvious reasons.

So sorry. This is hard, I know.

16 years is long time to have that routine. It takes a long long time to develop new routines. We hope that you and Ringo find one that speaks to both your hearts.

Made me all teary eyed seeing this special boy again. So glad you will still post pictures of Tucker. Miss him a lot, too.
