Chewy.com review: Evanger's treats

The good: One ingredient (salmon), a good-sized container which is nice for folks with multiple pets

The not-so-good:  The salmon smells, like, well salmon, which may be off-putting to people, the pieces are not uniform, container is flimsy

This is a nice-sized container. The back:

The pieces are different sizes, ranging from bits to large chunks of salmon. They are rather hard, so I wasn't sure if anyone would eat them, but both Ringo and Sadie love them. Benny would not touch them, but he is picky about his treats.

I like that they are made in the USA and there are no other ingredients. If you'd prefer not to feed your cats fish, there are other options like beef hearts and beef tripe.

My only "complaint" about this product is the container. I wish it was either a thicker plastic or a heavy bag. It's a thinner plastic and each time I open it, I fear it's going to crack and my kitchen floor will be covered in dried salmon.

That being said, it's nice to feed a treat that is one ingredient. If your kitties like salmon or freeze-dried treats, give these a try.

If you have an empty bottle, you could transfer the pieces to that. The Pure Bites also have different sized pieces so I cut them up into smaller pieces for Tiny who only has 4 teeth.

They probably taste good, but if they are hard I would pass because Snowball has only a couple teeth.
