Thrifty Thursday: Easter bunny

I found this, um, interesting Easter bunny at a local St. Vinnys.

While I don't care for it, it was once made with love, and it makes me wonder how it got there.

Uh...Actually, words fail us on that one. Maybe someone's mother or gee, great-grandmother, passed away and the relatives were cleaning out the unwanted possessions.

No offense to whoever made it, but OMC, that has to be the ugliest bunny we've ever seen. LOL.

I was going to say that was a gift.. someone made it and gave it to someone else..

I don't know - she's kinda cute. But, yes, definitely a gift I would imagine.

I often wonder that too when I am at thrift stores. It breaks my heart to see mugs with people's pets photos on them that someone must have donated after the person passed away.

Maybe the person who made it took a step back and said, "WHAT was I thinking???"

Other than the face, it looks well done but I'm with the rest...that's what a friend and I call tacky ugly.

It looks like it could use a good home.

I would not go to sleep with that rabbit in my bedroom! I am sure it was made with love for someone at one time. It's the thought that counts, or is it?
