One year

I can't believe that today marks one year since we lost our special Tucker boy. We've come so far in our grief, but we think of him every day. It's those little things we miss--the way his pupils would get huge if he saw a pen, his caterwauling, his big round eyes, his devotion to both Jim and I.

We'll always love you and miss you, Tucker.

That was a harrowing experience. I would have bet you would not find him, but you persevered, which is what it takes, and brought him home. The readers do miss him. He was a star.

You are in my thoughts today, I know how hard it is and time passing by may fade the pain but never the sweet memories.

We miss Tucker, too. At lease this time he ran away to the bestest place: over the Rainbow Bridge where he can run and play and watch over his beloved family from there.
