Making a cat cave

We were inspired by a post on Cole & Marmalade's blog to make a "cat cave" out of a t-shirt and cardboard box. (Scroll down to see the article on their site.)

We used a t-shirt I found at the thrift store, because I thought the pattern would look cool.

Just stretch it over the box and knot in the back!

Ringo was very curious about this.

He went in for a moment, but came right back out.

He ended up sitting right *outside* of it, silly boy.

No one has taken any interest in it yet. We'll try different locations and see what happens.

Boodie would take over something like that in a New York minute!

And she isn't even from New York.

That shirt makes that perfect! :)

And I'm sure in time it will be a huge hit, sometimes cats just need to get used to things

The mom saw this and thought about making us one of those too. We bet once the cats get use to it, they'll be all over it. Maybe put a soft blanket on in inside??

I love this! I've seen it on a couple of blogs but haven't done for my cats. I'm almost certain Saku would love it.

The T-shirt is terrific!

Cool shirt. Give them time, as soon as you decide to get rid of it, someone will be in it.
