New rain barrel

I asked Jim for a rain barrel for my birthday in May.  I've wanted one for years. We bought one from the local nature center, and I installed it myself (took about two hours and I got to buy a new hacksaw for the job)!

The next part was to paint it. I came up with a design in my head. . .and here it is!

The white "stripe" is the unpainted barrel. I wanted to have a gauge of how much water was inside.

I'm quite pleased with the results.
