Chewy.com review: Kong incline scratcher

We were excited to receive a Kong incline scratcher to review this month.

If you don't like inclined scratchers, Chewy has two other versions, a "single" and a "double," both of which are not inclined.

Pros: Many cats love cardboard scratchers, it's inexpensive, it contains a scratcher and a toy/play area

Cons: None that we can think of, except that if you have more than one kitty you may want to buy several of these. ;-)

Both Ringo and Sadie had similar inclined scratchers when they were kittens. We've found that kittens love these--they are a smaller size, plus they would contain a play area and kittens fit into the space easily.

But would they like this scratcher as adults? I think the video I took says YES.

This thing is like a magnet--I took off the cover and they both came to it.

Ringo even played with the toy and stuck his head into the holes.

Note: We read on Deziz World that the string in their toy came loose and was a choking hazard. Our string has stayed tight, but please check it before giving to your kitties.

It is important for kitties to have plenty of places to scratch. This Kong scratcher was loved immediately, and we give it a BIG four paws up. It's inexpensive, fun, and can be recycled after it's past its prime. What's not to love?

Sadie says: This is mine.

Ringo: Hey, let's play!

Disclaimer: We were given one scratcher in exchange for an honest review. The opinions here are our own.

This is very cool. Sophie and Grizzy's scratching post has seen better days - I think I'll pick up one of these for them!

what fun. the kittens here have one and removed the crinkly ball from inside the scratcher in under 30 minutes. mom hasn't even thought about the string so will check that tonight and remove it.

Yup, our toy came right out too, but I just cut a hole and tied it back up.
