Time to bring the lemon tree indoors

About a year ago,  I purchased a small Meyer lemon tree. It lives outdoors during the summer months, but given the climate here must be brought indoors the rest of the year. I'd brought it in, and soon found Sadie checking it out.

Mom, where is the catnip tree?

Fleurp would totally be checking out (and sampling) the dirt in that tree

That's a good question, Sadie! Just where is the catnip tree?

We had our first frost this morning. I have a 5 foot grapefruit tree in a pot in the kitchen now. It can never be planted outside. I keep pruning it down. My cats do not take much notice of it, I am happy to say.

Those are great, we bought one for my sister-in-law a few years ago and she gets lots of lemons.

Wow, I'd love to have a real plant in the house...but I suspect Saku would have it spread across the living room by the time I got home.
