Chewy.com review: Ziwi Peak Daily Cat Cuisine #chewyinfluencer

This month's review item is a food we hadn't heard of before, Ziwi Peak Daily Cat Cuisine food in lamb. There are other flavors available too.

There's a lot to like about this food. From Chewy's website description, it says: Never includes grains, rice, corn, soy, potatoes, wheat, fillers, sugars, glycerins, rendered meals, preservatives, TSPP, BPA, guar gum, agar agar or carrageenan.

93% of the food is lamb and mussels. Unlike some of the foods on the market, the ingredient list is relatively short. The most unusual item on the list is chick peas.

Another interesting ingredient is green mussels. I had no idea that they contain chondroitin and glucosamine, which supports joint health.

The cans are an unusual size, 6.5 oz compared to the "standard" tuna sized can of 5 oz.

The website said it's a "chunky" formula, but to me, it seemed like pate.

What would the cats think?

I was able to test the food on all four cats. Both the boys sampled it but were unimpressed.*

Now the girls LOVED this food.  Sorry about the photo of Lucy. She wanted to eat in a sunbeam.

This is a good quality food. I recommend it.
*Note: Lamb is not a food we feed very much.  In my experience, you need to try a new protein source several times.

Disclaimer: We were given some food in exchange for an honest review. The opinions here are our own.

Thank you for the review! Green mussels...really?

We get the smaller cans occasionally and love it! It's expensive, though, so it's a special occasion food.
