Vacation? What?

Sadie: What? You're taking a vacation?

This is what I think of your vacation! *hand gesture*

Yes, it's true. We're taking the week off. For the first time in many years, we're taking a road trip to Door County Wisconsin and then over to the Twin Cities. We've found a new professional pet sitter who is able to accommodate our needs (medications, multiple cats). We're both nervous and excited.

Also, Rene needs time to research and buy a newer car in the coming weeks, fill out loan paperwork, etc. After 8 1/2 years, her Grand Am needs a lot of repairs and it's time to replace the car.

We'll be back next week!

Bear and Sadie are very similar :) We hope you have a wonderful vacation. The area around the Great Lakes is my absolute favorite. If I could tolerate the winters, I'd move up there!

Exactly!
Some time ago I saw a picture (it's made by polish artist, so you probably won't understand the inscription - that's why I'm not copying a link).
There is drown happy cat, who says: "Look, I spilled a sand from litterbox and I also spilled water you were drinking, so now you don't have to go on this stupid beach anymore!"
