Blogging break

Eight years ago, I fell off my bicycle and hit my shoulder. It's never been the same, but it's worsened in the past year. I learned that I have a tear and that it is unstable. It's dislocating about three times per week, and causing me a lot of pain.

I am having surgery today on it. I will be in a sling for six weeks, so I need to take a break from blogging. I'd appreciate any prayers or good thoughts. I've never had a surgery and it's scary. I'm an active person, so taking it slow for a while will be a challenge.

We'll be back as soon as I'm able to type again!

We'll miss you, but you take care of that shoulder! DO NOT RUSH to get healed; give it the time it deserves. Listen to your doc. We'll be here when you are back. Take care.

Best of luck to you. You'll do great! The hardest will be to take it easy, I don't think that's in your DNA.
