We gots a feather

I found this cardinal feather while shoveling snow. The colors are so interesting.

The cats thought it was interesting too. . well, at least it smelled interesting to them!

    Oh, that's an awesome feather! Never have found a cardinal feather, though once I did find a blue jay feather. That went over well with the cats. :-)

    The mom always brings us feathers that she finds outside. We've never had a cardinal feather though.
