#58 is homemade macaroni & cheese.
I like to experiment with mac & cheese. Sometimes I add a can of beans, and often I top it with something crunchy.
This time, I added kidney beans and topped it with tortilla strips. I'm on the computer, and I hear a crunching sound. I didn't pay much attention at first, until Ringo ran into the kitchen.
There I spotted Sadie, crunching away! She immediately zoomed away. . .

Well, except for the fact that you're not allowed on the STOVE, yes, you are, Ringo.

Oh that sounds yummy, no wonder the kitties wanted some. We all like to steal food too. You all have a terrific day.
ReplyDeleteAhh, yes, cats do seem to have an interesting definition of being carnivores, no?
ReplyDeletegrowing up my mother used to put a jar of spaghetti sauce in the mac and cheese.. I'd never thought of adding beans.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny how kitties who ate kibble will gravitate towards corn and wheat based human treats..
Even I wouldn't be eating those! My human says she never thought of adding beans to mac and cheese - but she likes the idea a lot!
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a hit with the four legged crowd!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was the cheese that attracted her.
ReplyDeleteMom bean makes homemade mac and cheese but she never lets us have a taste! She's a mean one.
ReplyDeleteRingo, be careful that thing can be furry hot!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku

ReplyDeleteThat does sound good- before the kitties tested it :)
ReplyDeleteRut roh!! Hoping no one gets sick!
ReplyDeleteThe crunching sound is always the tell tale giveaway!
