Blackie is the cat we trapped last December, and (we think) Lucy's former housemate. I've slowly gained his trust and in the past couple of weeks have seen him more often. He sits on our patio chair and waits for food and pets. He purrs and has the softest meow.
He is unsure of the camera, and so far I'm unable to get much closer.
It is my hope that, as I continue to build trust, that he will stay near our house more. He is safe on our property, and I like being able to keep an eye on him.
He is a cutie. I'm so glad he has you and Jim looking out for him. :)
ReplyDeleteAre you considering having a shelter for him to use?
ReplyDeletewe are glad he has a safe space with you.
ReplyDeleteHuzzah - baby steps.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome kitty!
ReplyDeleteNice looking black panfur! A friend trapped two handsome black cans by using the wait and see method. One became close with his black cat by sitting on opposite sides of the door all day.
ReplyDeleteWe hope Blackie stays close!
ReplyDeleteI am glad Blackie is doing well.
ReplyDeleteWell he is definitely black is Blackie. He might become more friendly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome boy. We're happy to hear he's getting more comfortable and hope he will stay safe.
