Those small victories mean everything! I've been trying to remind myself of them - how far Ellie and Bear have come since July. I doubt they'll ever snuggle (but only because Ellie isn't a long term cuddler - she gets her fill and takes off) - but I sense an appreciation of each other between them. Rene, we hope you are continuing to heal!
ps - A couple weeks ago, I remarked on our blog about how happy I was that we hadn't had any cat fights at night for a few days ... you can guess what happened after that ... a couple nights of REALLY bad fights. Always have to keep us on our toes, right?
Excellent progress, Sadie! And if your humans just keep a light attitude about it, then you'll know that Lucy ain't no big deal...and certainly no one to worry 'bout.
Huzzah! Always happy for those little miracle moments. 😁
ReplyDeleteSlowly but surely the tension subsides!

ReplyDeleteThis is great news! My human had two cats who disliked each other, many years ago, and they did learn to cohabitate peacefully, if a bit grouchily.
