Coming back re: flea/worm meds for the neighbour's cat: Yes, I'm trying to get Profender from a Canadian supplier--have a message into them. My vet clinic won't sell it over the counter, the cat has to be a patient. If I can get it, I'll just give it to him.
Yes, I read that tapeworms come from fleas--he doesn't seem to have any visible (and I've been brushing him off and on all summer), so presume he ingested them from the prey he's been eating?
