Here's what going on in the garden.
The catnip is growing, so I picked and hung a bunch to dry in the garage (out of the kitties' reach).
This is our neighbor's catnip plant--the biggest catnip plant I've seen!
The morning glories are in bloom!
I checked my carrots for the first time. These are a special variety for growing in containers, so they are stubby. They tasted great!
Wow, your neighbor's nip plant is amazing! I'm surprised at how potent my nip plant is - my human brought in some fresh cuttings for us to enjoy and days later, after they had dried out, they were still VERY fragrant!
ReplyDeleteHmm, apparently I haven't posted a picture lately of my catnip plants in the patio garden. They do seem to just take over the place.
ReplyDeleteAnd, drat, I forgot to try planting any morning glories this year. Yours look beautiful, as always.
My cats would KILL to have a nip plant that big! I use the leaves in iced tea--it's delish.
ReplyDeleteDang, we would love to get our paws on that nip!!
ReplyDeleteI have one cherry tomato plant. My whole crop has been two tiny tomatos, but they were delicious!
