Tucker, you were loved by so many, and we are all so sorry you had to leave us now, none so much as your mom and dad. Fly free sweet boy and stop by for visits from time to time.
We're so sorry. Our Mommy always loved watching Tucker's gift video where he was caught trying to open the gift. We know he will be missed immensely. Hugs and purrs to you guys. -Lily, Jan and their Mommy
I'm so sorry... I so did not want to see this news. Purrs to you - Tucker was a very special cat, but you are special humans too, for caring for him so well and always doing everything possible for him... and more.
Oh, no, Rene, I'm so sorry. This is the post I've been dreading. I'm so glad you had the option of a mobile vet, though -- I think that would have been easier on Tucker.
I know your heart, and Jim's too, is broken, and I know there's nothing I can write that will help. I've posted a paraphrased quote before, that all the holes in our hearts are to let the Light shine through...What else is there to say? Tucker was loved beyond words, and always will be.
Our Best Purrs Of Comfort to you at this sad time. We would say that more than 16 years is pretty good, but it is never long enough no matter how many years.
I am so sorry for your loss of precious little Tucker. Purrs of comfort and loving throughs to you both. It is a heart wrenching time. Please accept my condolences.
Oh Rene, we are so so sorry. Just know that he knew how loved he was and had such a good life with you. We have tears running down right now. He was a great cat and we know how hard this is for you and your husband Rene. You sure are in our thoughts and prayers.
We are beyond sad and heartbroken for your mom and dad. You were one of our best friends and will treasure and remember your friendship always. This is the saddest day of the year so far for us. RIP sweet Tucker. We can only imagine the crowd that met you at the Bridge. (((hugs)))
We're sorry your sweet Tucker has crossed the Bridge. He will be watching over you from there and if you catch sight of him from the corner of your eye he will have been home to check you are OK. Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh no! We are so sad and send purrs and prayers of support at this difficult time. Fly free and watch over us dear Tucker until that day we all meet again. Timmy, Dad and Family
Rene I am so very very sorry that Tucker time with you drew to a close. I don't know what is worse, the unknowing phase, the in between, or the final goodbye. Your heart I well know aches more than you thought it could. I wish there was some magical thing any of us could say that would make it easier. But alas, there is not. I do believe that the amount of grief you'll feel is akin the amount of love you have, which is more that could ever be totaled. One thing I hope you will keep close to your heart. Tucker was loved, so loved for 16 years. He loved you that much in return. Hang onto to those memories. Our loved ones never truly leaves us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared,&the love they brought into our lives ♥
So very sorry to hear that Tucker's time to go came so soon. You gave him one last gift in letting him go. Sending lots of comforting purrs to you in your loss.
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our condolences as you grieve for Tucker. Sending you our purrs and prayers. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo (The Cat on My Head)
We are so sorry to hear that Tucker has passed on. We enjoyed following his adventures on your blog. Although we never met him in person, we will miss him also.
Oh, he was always your sweet baby boy, wasn't he. Well, actually, if you look inside your heart, he still is. We will miss him a lot, as will lots of others. He'll be waiting for you (and us) along with a lot of other loving animals Over the Rainbow Bridge. I hope he and brandi can meet.
Very sorry it was Tucker's time to leave for the bridge. He evidently brought a lot of happiness into your lives. It was thoughtful of you to give him a treat of something he'd have on his "bucket list" - an ear of corn. Hugs, purrs and tail wags of comfort.
our sorrow for you is so great Rene...may the words of my favorite poetry comfort your heart a little...with tender love, Karla
When Great Trees Fall Maya Angelou
When great trees fall, rocks on distant hills shudder, lions hunker down in tall grasses, and even elephants lumber after safety.
When great trees fall in forests, small things recoil into silence, their senses eroded beyond fear.
When great souls die, the air around us becomes light, rare, sterile. We breathe, briefly. Our eyes, briefly, see with a hurtful clarity. Our memory, suddenly sharpened, examines, gnaws on kind words unsaid, promised walks never taken.
Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us. Our souls, dependent upon their nurture, now shrink, wizened. Our minds, formed and informed by their radiance, fall away. We are not so much maddened as reduced to the unutterable ignorance of dark, cold caves.
And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be and be better. For they existed.
So sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye to Tucker...We are not sure if we have ever visited before, but we smiled to see him nibbling the corn and that he had some special time with you on the porch... Tucker will live in your hearts forever and would not want you to be sad, and soon, may you smile when you think of the happy times you shared...
We are so sorry to hear that Tucker had to go so soon. He was a special boy, and we know that he will leave a big hole in your family and your hearts. Many purrs and hugs to you from all of us.
