In memory of Chaz

A friend of mine lost one of her family's cats very suddenly this weekend, Lord Chaz. Chaz was only seven years old, but, sadly, his body was filled with cancerous tumors. I pet sit for him once several years ago and took this photo during one of my visits.

Rest in peace, Chaz. You're free from pain now.

Lord Chaz was a handsome Mancat! We are so sorry that he is gone at so young an age! WE are sending purrs and gentle head bumps to you and your friend!

Thanks, Rene. I can't tell you how much this means to me. One of the best gifts Chaz gave me was a friend in you.

Angela,

I am so sorry to hear about your beloved kitty, and I know exactly how you feel. My favorite cat of all time died very suddenly. I still have him walk through my dreams every so often! Chaz may have died young, but he had a lovely spoiled life.

What a stunningly gorgeous kitty! This is so sad to hear and I hope his family will find peace in knowing they gave him a great gift during the time he spent with them.

Weep not for me though I am gone,
Into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long,
Upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest,

There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed,
For all those many years.

There is no pain, I suffer not,

The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.

Remember not my fight for breath,

Remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.
