Sadie and her faceplant

Sadie did a faceplant the other night in my lap. She was sleeping pretty hard!

Sadie and the faceplant

Tucker used to be our faceplant king, but it's rare these days that any kitty does it. However, I recently caught Sadie faceplanting while she sat in my lap.

Time for a nap with Benny

Ringo here. I'm getting ready for a nap with Benny. First, I have to groom him thoroughly.

Then I get as close as possible and stretch out.

Now, if mom would only let us go to sleep!

Faceplants get me every time

Tucker was the BEST faceplant kitty. However, Lucy is trying to get her faceplant game on too.

Ringo's second faceplant

Ringo was on my lap and did his second faceplant! Here is his first if you missed it.

Benny was on my lap too and wanted you to know that.

Ringo's first faceplant!

Longtime visitors may remember that our Tucker was the king of faceplanting. I'm happy to announce that Ringo recently did his first faceplant! And I was able to document it happening.
A nice spot to rest my head.
So relaxing.

Ta-DAH!

Another new Tucker faceplant!

This time, he attempted the rarely-seen face-into-my-hand faceplant, while I was on the computer.*

*To see more face plants, I now have a face plant tag at the end of this post.

NEW Tucker faceplant!

Jim took this shot of Tucker faceplanting on my face. He does this sometimes, but obviously I can't take a photo of it myself.

A (blurry) new Tucker faceplant

Tucker was faceplanting in the laundry basket the other day. You could hardly see his head! I grabbed my camera, and as I pressed the trigger, started laughing at something Jim said. Of course, this woke up Tucker so I was unable to get another shot.

A Benny faceplant!

Our Tucker is the master of faceplants at our house, but Benny recently faceplanted! Sorry that these photos are blurry. He was on my lap while I was on the computer, and I had to use the camera without waking him. (of course, Jim was not home at the time to assist).

Another new Tucker faceplant!

Oh, our Tucker boy, master of the faceplant. He did one in my arms, and thankfully Jim got a photo.

The king of faceplants strikes again!

Jim took this photo one night after I'd gone to bed. He could hardly believe it--Tucker just planted his face into the couch's arm and went to sleep!

A NEW Tucker faceplant

Tucker is the king of faceplants at our house. It had been a while since I'd seen one, but then recently he was faceplanting in the laundry basket!

I only got one shot before he woke up.

You are the faceplant master, Tucker!

A collection of Tucker faceplants

No one does faceplants better than our Tucker!
I've gathered up the ones I could remember and put them all in one post for your enjoyment.

A sideways faceplant, almost

Tucker was getting in position to do a sideways faceplant into the side of the couch. . .

Hey, why must you photograph my every move?

Answer: because you guys are all SO CUTE and I can't help myself!

A sideways faceplant

Tucker is mastering his faceplant techniques by trying an advanced position--the sideways faceplant.

Our version of Cat Talk

It's Cat Talk Time, where we share our special cat words.

We have a lot of scrunching at our house.

A particularly good Benny scrunch.

Tucker often does a faceplant when he sleeps.

What cat words do you have at your house?

We are still alive (and back!)

First off, I apologize for the long absence. It's been a crazy couple 18 months here. In summary: • Jim and I moved his mom from Minnes...
