First, Jim saw Bella last night in our driveway! I'm thrilled that she's doing ok and still coming for food.
Today's post is a video I had tried to get for months--Tucker caterwauling. Every time I'd turn on the camera or move toward him, he would stop. I had to settle for the audio only, so ignore the boring scenery. Does anyone have a cat who does this regularly?

Sammy does this!!!!!!! He has several stuffed toys he considers his "hunt," and every day at least once a day, he will pick one up in his mouth and walk around the house caterwauling!!!!!! He has done this for 14 years!!!!!!!!!!

brandi just took this up. She does it when she comes into the room. After she eats. Before she jumps on the bed. When I have something interesting to eat that she wants.
She's 19 and JUST started this.
I don't know if I could have taken this all 18 years I have had her.
My feline sisters don't do this, but I better not show them this video so they don't get any funny ideas.
Your pal, Pip

WE don'r do that! It is a funny sad sound!
Tucker, you sound like you are trying to sing. You have a lovely voice. Have you tried out for American Idol? You'd win paws down.
Scooter, the one that came before us, used to do this! Now Wally will do some meowing, but it sounds more civilized. Tucker, you have a beautiful voice!!
Our Chuckles used to do this! He was deaf, so he didn't have much volume control, he was LOUD! So funny.
What a sound! Oddly melodic... Scarlett's noise when she "catches" a sock and brings it to me is similar, but less throaty.
Are you sure Tucker is a boy? I have a female cat who does this all the time. We figure she is in heat, even though she was spayed at a young age. Our other cat does something very similar. Usually its when she cant find my husband. They are basically connected at the hip.
Cheers, Marlene, Sable & Tiki
Connor does this all the time! Usually five minutes before my alarm goes off!
