This month's product is Blue Buffalo Wilderness Variety pack canned food. We are also entering Chewy's "make a craft project from a Chewy box."
This pack includes chicken, salmon, and duck flavors. Each package contains four of each flavor. It is grain free, no by-products, corn, wheat, or soy. The ingredient list is generally good, though I admit I was disappointed to see potatoes on the list. Customer reviews are quite good--average of 4.5 stars.
On to the review!
We all live in a Chewy submarine. . a Chewy submarine. . .a Chewy submarine.
Benny: What is happening here?
Ringo: Oh boy, look at this great submarine! But why a submarine, mom?
Well, you, Sadie, and Lucy are named in reference to Beatles, so it seemed fitting. Plus, we have four cats = four Beatles, one for each of the portholes on the submarine!
Oh, and it's a box too, so we kitties will like it!
And oh boy, Chewy gave us some food to review!
This is the salmon. Despite it being fish, it had nearly no smell.
This is the duck. It too had little smell.
Lucy liked all of the flavors.
Ringo liked all of the flavors too, and tried to help himself to some of Benny's portions.
|Hey! This is mine!|
Benny liked the salmon and chicken, but not the duck.
All in all, the food was well liked and we would buy this. The ingredients are pretty good and (most importantly) the cats liked it.
Here are more photos of our submarine. We used a Chewy box to make it, plus sections of other boxes we had on hand. We also used yellow spray paint, cardstock, and some old red tape that a co-worker gave us.
The propellers are a cardstock flower on a toothpick. So far, the cats haven't chewed them off.
Disclaimer: We were given some food in exchange for an honest review. The opinions here are our own.
