Sadie had a vet appointment today for her next booster shot. The good news: she has gained enough weight to put her in the "normal" size for kittens her age. The bad news: she has a heart murmur and we've had to delay her spay surgery. She has an appointment for the end of January for her rabies shot and to check the murmur. If it's gone (many kittens outgrow them) we'll schedule the spay. If it's not (and the vet was doubtful it would be gone since she's already four months old), we'll need to see a specialist to make sure she's fit to undergo the spay.
Please think good thoughts for Sadie that her murmur will improve. She's had so many hard knocks in life already.
