I adore violets, but until recently, was unable to keep them alive. That is, until I discovered the "magic window" in my office at work. The first violet I brought in (dark gray pot in photos) has grown and flourished and has now been in bloom for an entire year! When my friend Amy gave me a few starter plants, I brought in the smallest one. It, too, has grown and has recently started to bloom (tan pot in photos). All in all, they make a beautiful display on my desk.
