UPDATE: Sadie came through the surgery just fine and is already awake and sitting up in her cage. I had a talk with the vet, and she recommended Sadie stay the night (so she can be kept quiet). Though it will be sad without her tonight, it's for the best. We will pick her up tomorrow afternoon.
