Sadie's birthday countdown: part 2

After Sadie arrived at her new home, she was set up in her own room for a few weeks. We did all we could to kitten-proof the room. Since she was so tiny, even a garbage can that tipped over could be a hazard.

Within days, she learned how to crawl up the side of the futon. I took this shot as a scale reference--a tiny kitten dwarfed on a full-size futon.
