The 4449 locomotive


The Daylight no. 4449 locomotive made a stop at Milwaukee's Amtrak station yesterday morning and was on display for the day. This is Jim's favorite locomotive, but he'd never seen it in person. Photos can not capture the size of this beast. This photo is Jim standing next to the front of it.

I thought I took two videos yesterday, but after playing around with my camera tonight, it seems they didn't take!! ARGH! I haven't told Jim yet, but I know he'll be disappointed. . . .
