Shed-o-rama
This is how much fur I brush out of the cats weekly (it's compressed into a ball). To the right of the fur is a combing tool called the Furminator. It's my favorite brush because (gasp) it really works. The manufacturers of the brush claim that 10 minutes of brushing once per week reduces shedding 90%. I don't know about percentages, but it does make a significant difference in shedding around our house when I use it regularly. It also cuts down on the number of hairballs.
