Cat jewelry, old and new

Look what Jim gave me for Christmas--an adorable cat necklace from Shaws Jewelers. The tummy is sapphire and the collar has bits of diamonds in it.

My mom surprised me with this pin. It belonged to my Grandma. It's obviously hand made (with lead, I think) and quite a hefty piece. When I asked Grandma about it on Christmas, she told me that she had nearly lost it during a night out, but a kind neighbor had found it and returned it to her. It's from around 1940s era.  I love it!
