Before Sadie, I never knew a cat who was afraid of thunderstorms (only dogs). We've had stormy weather tonight, and the girl is hiding somewhere (probably in the basement). Poor girl. Anyone else have a cat who is afraid of thunderstorms?

Scarlett doesn't really get scared, but she gets jittery before big storms and will stay close to me. I haven't experienced a storm with Melly yet :)
We don't act any differently when it have storms. Happy STORMLESS Caturday. xxxxxx
Angle and Kirby do not like strong winds and will jump if the thunder rattles the windows, but they usually sin in a window and watch the storm!
Our recently departed kitty was never afraid of storms until one time we were away on holidays and we had a very bad hailstorm, from that day forward she would hide in the storage room in the basement whenever it rained or stormed.
We had some thunderstorms on Saturday morning and our new two don't seem to be bothered by them, unless the thunder wakes them up and then they just look annoyed :)
