I'm a little late in posting this, but I was waiting for all of my friend Stanley's lab results to come in before I updated you. Stanley has allergic bronchitis and another condition with a long name--which is basically inflammation of the lung tissue. The good news is he does NOT have any parasites, bacterial infections, or cancer.
Their vet started him on a short course of prednisone that will taper off within a couple of weeks. I also talked to her about taking stock of what she uses in their house--air fresheners, cleaners, fabric softener.
