Benny knocked my lunch bag onto the floor, then both boys decided to sit by it. Cats can be such a mystery sometimes.

It's easy to figure out. They're guarding your lunch bag in case any lunch bag thieves come racing by to help themselves. And if none do, they deserve what's in the bag for guarding it.
