You ate WHAT?! #18

#18 is chicken and rice casserole. I had made this hot dish, added some carrots, and put it in the oven. When it was finished, I took it out to cool.

Unknown to me, "someone" (probably Sadie) had their eye on this. Part of one chicken piece was eaten, even before it was completely cool!

As a bonus, she also carried away some carrots and left them on the kitchen floor, mostly uneaten.
I am sad to report that Jim's dad is once again back in the hospital. He's had a number of health problems, and many of the tests have come back inconclusive. It's been frustrating for the family, as he continues to have pain and feel poorly. We'd appreciate any purrs or prayers.

We get the chicken tasting--yum! And we'd leave the carrot too.

We're sorry Jim's dad is back in the hospital and are sending purrs and purrayers for his Highest Good.

Yeah.. carrots are NOT number one my list of yummy foods. If only my peeps weren't veggies, maybe I'd get to sneak a little chicken from their dinners. Oh well... this is my life.

Kirby does that, too! He does not like carrots, either!

Cats are such curious creatures. No food is safe around them even if it's something they don't like. Benny and Sadie are too funny. They did the deed when the beans weren't around so there would be no eyewitnesses. They wanted Tucker to take the blame.

I too am sorry to hear about Jim's dad. I hope he is feeling well enough to go home soon.

And is there something off with me that I don't think that this is too weird of a food to be in this list?? I mean chicken and chicken smelling orange nuggets.. *shrug* If she had actually ate the carrot maybe... :)

See, THAT is a normal thing for a cat to want to eat! (Melly, take note!) Scarlett made off with a carrot piece the other day, and was half way to the living room before she realized she didn't like carrots. Silly goose.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jim's dad. Prayers and positive vibes heading his way!

Miss Sadie - you must learn to eat, or at least hide, the carrots to remove all evidence of your meal.
