Wedding towel cake

My step daughter is getting married in September, and her shower was yesterday, so I can finally share these photos. I made a "towel cake," which is rolling towels and stacking them to look like a wedding cake. In the middle of the cake is a bottle of wine, and an OXO wine stopper is on top. Tucker was very cute and posed near the cake.

This thing is huge!

 I like it, mom.

I embroidered their new monogram for the top tier.

Me with the bride-to-be!

How very clever! Never saw one of those before. Hope the shower brought more good stuff!
Rolled hand towels and pretty soap in a basket is about as clever as our family gets.
Lucky girl!

It's very pretty. Tucker... do you think you'll get to lie down on all those towels? Oh, what fun that would be! purrs

What a pretty towel cake. It looked good enough to eat. You should have been on top of that cake, Tucker. I know the bride-to-be loved it, too.
